It's a BOY!

Yes, It's true, we are having a baby boy! I had the ultrasound yesterday and there was no doubt about it. We are both very excited. Josh says he would have been happy either way, but I think he secretly was hoping for a boy. This morning, though, I think he'd settle for a baby that just liked him- Whitney woke up on the wrong side of the bed...again. The ultrasound showed a healthy boy and we feel very blessed. Here are a couple pictures. The first is the definitive BOY shot (pretend you are looking up from the underneath, there are two thighs and what's that in between?????)and the second is just a picture of me at 20 weeks along. A little bigger than I was with Whitney at this point. (P.S. I did not dress up for this picture taking occasion and doing your hair is overrated- oh and also, I picked this picture because it does not fully reflect the extent of junk that is really in my trunk right now.)

Oh Baby!

Well, this picture is our latest news. Yes, you guessed it, we are having another child. As you can plainly see, there is an arm bud, a heart and an eye socket in this photo. We had an ultrasound on our first visit to the doctor, which was last weekend in Salt Lake. It was good to see that there was an actual fetus inside of me instead of a small parasite slowly taking me down from the inside. I'm 12 weeks along so hopefully I will be feeling better by mid July or August. I was sick until my 16th week with Whitney- good times. Our baby is due January 4th, but possibly sooner according to the ultrasound. Whitney has no clue, and that's probably a good thing- I'm pretty sure she'd prefer to be an only child for a few more years. I'm sure she'll be a good helper at some point though. We're excited to expand our family. I'm sorry that we didn't call everyone in person to tell them our news, but now that I'm a cyber-dork, this seemed like the way to go. We'll keep you posted on everything!
