Baby Z is officially 4 months old now! He weighs 16.5 lbs. and is 25 1/4 inches. He continues to make us smile. Such a sweet little man we've got. Two little men, actually. Tyler is blowing bubbles in this picture because I think he saw that I thought it was cute when Zach did it, so he thought his bubbles would be just as cool- and they are, look at the size of that thing!:)Friday, September 24, 2010
4 months already?

I Finally snapped
I had had enough! Whitney has developed this habit of sucking/chewing on the ends of her hair. I don't know why it bugs me so bad, but it does. I had been threatening for weeks to cut off her hair if she kept doing it. Today was the day I delivered on that threat... This morning we had quite the hair showdown. Whitney never wants me to do her hair but today was especially bad since the ends were so hardened that I couldn't comb through it gently. Anyway, I talked her into donating her hair and explained who gets the hair and why. She agreed to do it.
After the first snip of the scissors, I got super nervous and wondered if a beautician would be able to fix it. Whitney had a mini freak out as well. I put on my "it's totally normal to have hair like this" face and she calmed down. By the end of it all, I think it turned out okay.
She loves it and I'm hoping it puts a stop to the hair chewing. If not, maybe I'll have to dip the ends in rubbing alcohol or something. I'm mainly just hoping this haircut creates peace and harmony in my home. Is that too much to ask?
I found this cute little bug laying down in my hallway... MMMMM...lovin' this kid!
