I was thinking about it this weekend, and I think this was one of the funnest summers we've had while living in Star Valley. There have been some really hard times for me, but also there have been some wonderfully enjoyable times. My babies are old enough to where they aren't quite so....high maintenance? I feel like I was able to be a good (enough) mom, but to also have some fun myself- doing things that I wanted to do. Does that make sense? I think as parents, we sometimes just spend most of our time making sure our kids are having fun. I hope every summer is as fun filled and memory filled as this one was.

(Whitney wanted so badly to try it out, so she borrowed a friends swim suit to try it- sometimes she really surprises me! She's got a little daring streak in her- I may be responsible for that)

There was even an airplane that flew over and dropped candy on us...(I could not believe how close to the ground he was. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. You can kind of see a rooftop in this picture, to get perspective).

Then, this weekend we snuck down to the cabin to do some boating and cabin time with cousins. Whitney took more tube rides than anyone I think this weekend. She was always up for a ride in the tubes. She's such a little water bug!
