Random December...

December seemed to cruise by faster than usual for me this year. Here are a few glimpses of what I did catch through all the busy-ness.
We had our ward Christmas party. The kids mailed Santa  a letter and he mailed a letter back

When the kids got home from the party, we were greeted by Oscar the elf! He came back to basically just check in on the kids:)
Of course there was some snow play that went on in December...

Zach had a chance to call Santa or talk to an elf on the phone. We're not quite clear on that...

Me and Whitney got a little artsy...

A picture of our tree...

Taking care of our tree...
Whitney's choir concert...
We had a few chances just to lounge around in December, although I don't remember having any time to do that...
Zach got his cast off and was a little sad to let his arm friend go...We took some pictures for posterity.
Cougar got some cute accessories to show off. She was clearly super happy about it.

Whitney performed in her school talent show. She did such a great job playing Ukrainian Bell Carol. I was so proud of her for performing in front of all those people. She's so great.

Here's Whitney jammin on my guitar...
Our primary did a little nativity program and Whitney and Tyler got to participate. Whitney played Mary and Tyler was a wise man.

What a fun December we had...Looking forward to the New Year and hoping each year gets better!

6th day of our Christmas Break...

After the big sleepover, the kids frosted some sugar cookies. More family togetherness:) Mom makes the best sugar cookies and frosting...The BEST!

We headed home later that day, but not before seeing our California cousins! We were able to meet up with them and visit...Oh we got a lot of cousin time in this year. That's what the holidays are all about- being with those you love!

Day 5 of Christmas Break

We went to the church gym and got out some energy playing a little bball and volleyball. It was a lot of fun to show off all of our skilzzzz, or lack thereof.

I only have this picture, but the kids had a sleepover that night at grandmas. They call it the "cousin sleepover". They've turned it into a tradition and look forward to it every year now. I love how much they love to be with each other.
Good Times...
