It's no secret that I love St. George -I can't think of one thing that I don't like about it. I know what you're thinking and -Yes, it get's HOT in the summer, but I would much rather have two months of scorching heat versus two months of bitter cold in the winter. That is all. My star valley friends and I have had many conversations about this lately and I think I'm the only one that feels this way! It is so odd to me. I'm just sayin' that St. George and I are MFEO. (I do like Star Valley too, it's just been a brutally LONG winter-5 months and still FEET of snow on the lawn. There are pros and cons to everywhere I guess, although, I still haven't found one for SG;)
Well, get comfortable folks. There are lots of pictures here. In an effort to simplify my life, I'm taking a break from scrapbooking this year and just doing a blog book. So, all the pictures I would have used in my scrap pages are here. Below are pics of our spring break vacation in St. George. "Hunting" for Lizards in grandma and grandpa's neighborhood.

We went to this place called "Creative Minds Learning Center".
There were all sorts of educational things to do.

The next day, we went to Zions. We went through the tunnel in the rock(I'm sure it has a name, but I've forgotten it). Which is super cool. You can't stop inside, so I didn't get any real good pictures of the inside, below are pictures of the outside. Still pretty cool.

Another great thing about our trip was that my kids seemed to get along so well. It sure was refreshing!
The hike we took while there was to Emerald Pools. I would definitely recommend it if you have little ones (and two backpacks!). We hiked to all three pools, It was a 3 mile hike total. At some points Josh was carrying Whitney AND Tyler.
Is it just me or does Zach look GIANT in that backpack! He really wasn't that heavy at all. My back didn't ever get tired.

Whitney loved the rainbows made by the falling water. You could reach out and touch them!

Upper Pool. The temperature plummeted up here! It was fun to be so close to such a huge water fall! The kids loved climbing and just being outdoors.

Another highlight was the ice cream at the end. The perfect end to the perfect day!
It was fun just to be in different country than we're used to. All the red rock and cliffs.
Cute cousin Truman just adores Miss Whit. And we adore him!
We went to a cool park with lots of "IKEA-ish" types of equipment.
It was so fun. I was secretly wishing I could play on them!
Our playgrounds are pretty old school-ish up here, so this was really cool for the kiddos.
We went to a place called "Jumpin Jacks" the next day. It's just a big inflatable fun house type of place.
We met up with some of our friends down there. They had a blast. (This is Whitney's favorite friend- btw. So cute!)
