The painting continued into August. Will I ever be done?? Lots of the brown is gone, so that makes me happy.
We hit the lake one evening and honed the boys' wakeboarding skills and Tyler got up skiing! Warms my heart to see them try new things.
This guy loves boat treats.
Throwing the kids...
Throwing mud at each other...
I've learned how to grill. I know that sounds dumb, but I've never really been interested in it until now. I'm a huge fan.
The kids left me for school. Lame. Although, I do like the lack of bickering and video game sounds...
Whitney and Tyler skiing.
We love taking a break on the beach. This day we got stuck out there in a rain/wind storm!
We didn't have a huge harvest from our almond tree thanks to the stinkin' birds, but what we did get was delicious. Our grapes are coming on as well.
Mom and Dad even came to visit us and I was a dummy and didn't get many pictures. I took them to the Glen Canyon Dam and we just visited for a couple of days. Tyler had some dental work done that was a little more eventful than I had anticipated, so it wasn't the ideal trip for them, I'm sure, but we loved having them in our home. I got a picture of Tyler with them before they left since the other two were at school and he got to stay home.
I love when Josh and I get to spend time together on his day off. We headed to the lake when the kids were at school. He fished while I read. I love being on the lake in the "fall". I feel like it's a bonus summer!
Of course we still are playing at the lake. Here's a shot from one of our outings. I'm not so good at documenting these days! I will be better in the future.
I caved and bought a slip n slide. It kept the kids busy for about 15 minutes...
We have such beautiful skies sometimes. So much pink!
I finally got crafting again! It's been well over a year. I made this very simple wreath and have lots of other creations in mind:)
On to September...
