Google Tag

Okay so I haven't had a post in awhile and Caitlin had this on her blog so I thought I'd try it out since I have soooo much time on my hands, not really, I just like to procrastinate lately...

So here's what you do . . . Google each of the following things and post the first image that comes up in the following categories. I am doing it for Josh instead of me. It's more fun this way.

First name: JoshThis is Josh Holloway. If you don't know, he's Sawyer on Lost. Gotta love Lost.

Middle Name: TylerSteven Tyler, yes he is still alive. He always looked so old to me, but he doesn't look too bad in this picture. Gotta love the magic of Hollywood!

Last Name: SmithHe's come a long way since being The Fresh Prince
Age: 30

This is a show on FX where people try living a different kind of lifestyle for 30 days. I've never seen it, looks interesting. Anyone want to switch with me?

Place Josh would like to visit: AlaskaCan't say that I blame him
Favorite Place to Vacation: Since we don't really "vacation" I don't know where this would be. But we'll try Manassa Colorado. I know there's a sense of nostalgia when he goes there. I think this is a building by the church?

College Major: Philosophy
This pretty much sums it up for me. Just a lot of thinking about stuff and not much else. I don't know how he did it. Philosophy makes my head hurt.

Place you grew up: Josh lived in a lot of places, one of them was Clovis, NM. This was the first picture on Google Image. Sorry, it goes along with an article about a man that poached these poor deer and cut off their heads.
First Job: I don't know what Josh's first job was. I guess I'll ask him tonight. He probably won't remember though.
Favorite Treat: Ice Cream Josh LOVES pretty much any ice cream. It's a nightly ritual( well maybe bi-weekly) to sit in front of the TV dipping his spoon into a half gallon of ice cream. Oh to have a lightning fast metabolism!

Favorite Food: Steak, I think. Unfortunately, I don't cook steak. Josh didn't marry me for my cooking abilities though. He's too much of a connoisseur lately so I don't' think I'll ever even try. Favorite Color: Does not have one. He's not really big into "favorites" but of course he loves BLUE (go cougs!)SPOOOOOOKY...
A place he's gone today: fishing
again, this was the first image that came up. I'm pretty sure he won't be bringing this one home:)
What we're having for dinner: Spaghetti and Jello and Bread This is Spaghetti sauce Jello. MMMMMMM..... You're all invited to our house for dinner.... nasty.

Okay that took awhile. If you want to waste some time, do this. I gotta go. My spahetti jello won't make itself!

The journey begins

Okay so I don't really consider preschool "school" since it's only for a couple hours a week-but I'll make a big deal out of it anyway for Whitney's sake. I was thinking about how excited Whitney was to go to school and the pessimistic side of me was saying "slow down, you've got like 18 more years of it left!" Today was the first day of her 18 year journey. It's exciting but sometimes I wish that she could just stay 3 for the rest of her life. Yes, you read that line correctly- hear me out. Right now, Whitney thinks I'm the most beautiful, funniest, smartest, most capable, and the best security blanket out there. She's always telling me "Mom, you're beautiful- even first thing in the morning when I clearly am NOT". Lately, she has started saying "Mommy, I love you" (but picture her saying it like a happy drunk). It's the sweetest thing. She says the funniest things and does the most random things. I always know where she is and I know what she needs. I know her friends and I like them. I guess in a lot of ways a three year old is easier than a big kid- even with the irrational fears and the tantrums. WOW who knew parenting would be so tricky! Anyway, here's to the three year olds in our lives!
