Random February

Yummy Strawberry Valenties cake
Lake Powell is still sick...

I kid you not, I got one marble in the marble game. I did it a few days later and got one marble right in the center. It was magical. Never done that before.
Dreamy sunset
More Valentines themed treats
We did some fun projects for Activity Days...
Tyler has passed Whitney in height.
Whitney made it into the Honors Orchestra and was invited to go to Flagstaff and perform with several other students. It was a fabulous performance. One I'll never forget. (Partially for reasons you'll see below.)

Long story short, I found out while in Flagstaff (at part of this concert) That Josh was asked to be the Stake President. I gave Elders Haynie and Lythgoe my blessing and here we are...

Cutie Patootie
Finally getting some proper snow!

More Activity Days stuff...

Another one of my callings is Assistant Stake Camp Director. We had a fun overnight retreat and got lots done. This is a fun group of girls.
Whitney and some of her ward friends having a jam session in preparation for a musical number.

Pretty memorable Stake Conference

Getting Heart Attacked (for Josh, the YW did this)
I took Tyler shed hunting. This was the first shed he's found. He's been out several times soon with no luck. Glad I could be there for this one! We both prayed he'd find one and he did!!

Cosmo thinks he's a lap dog.
Taylor and Amanda came to visit on their way home from AZ. I was horrible with taking pictures. Here are a few that I got.
Baby Owen

Cleo the dog

That was a month full of surprises both pleasant and eye opening:)

Zach's First Temple Trip

It's been a minute since the youth have been able to go and do baptisms for the dead. We had the PERFECT day in Monticello. The kids were so reverent and they loved this experience. I was so glad I could tag a long with the youth to watch Zach participate in this for the first time.
baptism demonstration...

Taking a picture in Monument Valley where Forrest Gump stopped running:)

What a wonderful day with wonderful people.

Angels Landing Hike in Zion

The Angels Landing hike will turn into a lottery system soon so Josh and I snuck away and went to Zion (along with a boat load of other people) to hike this beautiful trail. It was icy in spots and narrow. Overall it was a fabulous hike. Not one I would have wanted my babies on though! I'm so glad we did it!

We swung by the Belly of the Dragon trail on our way home. Its a little tunnel under the highway. I've always wanted to check it out. Glad we did. Pretty cool!
