Random December

December went buy in a flash,as usual.
Josh and I (mostly Josh, but I think I'm a dang fine helper)finished up the garage.
I subbed Zach's 2nd grade class twice and he was naughty. His clip is all the way down at "teacher's choice". One more slip up and I'd have to contact his parent...
Over the holiday, Josh's parents gave him some of his old things. Here, I'm modelling his Letter Jacket.

Zach is modelling a sweater that gigi crocheted for him.
This is an old recipe that he clearly did not want to write. He was sort of showing his smart alecky side with this assignment...
Looks like some of that smart alecky was apparent in those 9 weeks of Jr. High...Despite being a pain for, he turned out OK.
Zach went over to his primary teacher's house and made a gingerbread house. She's the best!
Our chicken, aka "Colonel Sanders" aka "Juanita" aka "Bock Bock" laid some eggs!
This is at our bishops house (also the house of Zach's primary teacher) A tumbleweed snowman may be the only kind of snowman we get this year.
It has been a fun Holiday season and we're happy we were able to make the most of it! Onward and upward to 2018!

Christmas 2017

Christmas 2017 was really great. We saw lots of family and just had a lot of fun. Of course, it went by way too fast and was way too short and I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to, but I'll take it anyway! That's just the way things go when you are a visitor...

We started our trip off by going to a BYU basketball game. They won!
The kids helped grandma decorate her little tree with homemade ornaments from my siblings...

The next day was Christmas Eve. Mom and Dad had their traditional Christmas Eve party. This year we hit the karaoke hard. It was so much fun. I think If I had a karaoke machine, I'd use it daily...

Playing a little pool with grandpa. I really need to work on my pool game...
Then there was the Nativity reenactment...Our kids played the parts of Mary, Joseph and Shepherd #2.
Then there was the family talent show...
Then every grandkid awaited their yearly ornament from grandma...
Lots of yummy food, of course.

 And then Christmas Morning came...
A very large telescope for Zach...
We were able to visit Taylor and Amanda a couple of times. We were so happy to meet Olivia! I could have held her all night!

 We also attended her blessing...
I didn't take nearly enough pictures, but it was a fun time and we loved being with family.
