Random February

I love February. Lots of pink, red and LOVE! There were big changes since our ward boundaries changed and we found ourselves in a new ward with new callings. I am excited for the change! I've made lots of new friends already and it's given me hope for my life in this small town.  We had our Valentines dinner- unfortunately my main Valentine was spending his night in a City Council Meeting:(

I picked a hard month to give up candy...These are two of my favs...
They Heywoods came back for a visit from Phoenix. They are such a fun couple and are in for some fun adventures in their new state of Oklahoma. The kids love playing with Riley on the trampoline.

I'll miss this girl! She's so sweet and hilarious. We're lucky to have crossed paths with them while living here.
Then it SNOWED! This was the first time this year and it's February! Bizarro world, I'm tellin' ya!

I've been getting craft lately. Made a new wreath and finished up a blanket. I crocheted this fat yard blanket. It's more of a net than a blanket, but I love it and use it for naps...
It snowed again so I swung by the lake after dropping off Zach at school and took some pictures.

Oh and I cut my hair! I do this every 10 years or so. I love it being short right now. Feels thicker and it's just nice to get the split ends off.
Tyler has become quite the baller this season. We love watching him learn this sport and score points! He's a great passer and shooter.

How is it spring already!?

Cottonwood with the Christiansens

We headed out past Big Water one weekend to go on a hike we've been wanting to do for awhile now. We invited the Christiansens to go with us and it was a lot of fun. Kids just love running through these little slot canyons.

Then we headed over to Grosvenor Arch. Of course Josh and Kyle climbed to the top of it. We all stayed below to take pics;)

We love a good day with friends...

Quick trip to SG

We took a trip over to St. George and played one weekend. Tyler always loves to visit the skate park while we're there. The rest of us just watch him and wait for him to be done:)

Then we headed to Fiesta Fun for some laser tag.
Our family came in 2nd place and Zeron (me!) got third place overall! I think I've found my true calling...
Good times...
