We headed out last weekend to Face Canyon. Face Canyon is a twisty turny canyon with sheer walls on every side. It is beautiful. Josh had heard of an arch up there, so we set out to find it!
Almost there!
We made it!
We took a little detour through this slot canyon where the lake could not reach.
One of the highlights was finding this miniature marvel. I've never seen an animal so small that looks like the exact version of it's bigger version! Not sure that makes sense, but basically, this frog was oozing cuteness...
It was a beautiful fall night. We love building fires, unfortunately, our beach was pretty barren in the dead wood department!
Beautiful night...
In the morning, we went and chased some fish...
The water was so flat and clear. The kids loved seeing the reflections of the rocks in the water.
I am not a great fisher-woman, at all. But if it involves being on a boat out on the water, I'm usually on board...(did not mean to make a dad joke...)
Oh how we love our extended summer...
