Blue & Gold Banquet

 The theme for the Blue and Gold Banquet this year was "camping" The boys were supposed to make a cake with their fathers and there would be a prize for the best cake. Ours didn't win any awards, but had they tasted it, I bet it would have! Josh made a chocolate cream cheese frosting!

St. Geezy

 We made a quick trip to St. George this past weekend. We had such a good time re-connecting with family. The kids even got to frost Valentines cookies! We watched some great soccer and just got a lot done. We love going to St. George!

 

 

 

Tyler has been dying to go to a real skate park. He is getting better!

  

We took a short little walk on the Turtle Preserve. Still no evidence of any turtles...

Valentines 2017

Throughout the month, the kids got little Valentines each day from me. Here are a few pictures of them. They were so excited each day to come home and see if they had "mail".  Sometimes Tyler and Zach wrote back. I adore my four little valentines

One day I had them decorate a cake. They each got a section. Apparently Josh is not a "sprinkles" guy.

Cathedral Canyon

We took a trip down to the Lee's Ferry area and hiked down the lower part of Cathedral Canyon. It was a very cool hike since we were down in a slot canyon the whole time. It felt very spring-like since there were birds chirping and we even saw grass! What made it ultra spring like feeling was the fact that the kids were getting in the water! What a fun adventure it was. A little dicey in spots, but we've got a great hiking guide in Josh. He keeps us safe. Here are some shots of our day.
