Then they decorated Christmas cookies. Yummmmmm......
There was a cousin sleepover at Grandmas house that night. Pretty sure the kids didn't get any sleep that night.
The garage was, of course, fully stocked with Stewart's. I know, it's a little ridiculous. We love our Stewart's though...
Christmas Eve, the kids reenacted the nativity. This year Zach was a shepherd. He totally nailed his line... "We must hurry!" He's so stinkin' cute...
Whitney was an Angel.
Tyler was a wise man. I can barely stand that smile. So cute.
We then did a little talent show. Tyler sure adores Miss Abby.
Whitney played a little "Up on the Housetop". Awesome.
Tyler sang a song about Samuel. It wasn't one we normally sing. He did awesome.
Grandpa played a tune on his harmonica that he brought back from his mission. We love the harmonica.
THEN, we had a little impromptu party for the birthday boys.
The kids got their traditional Christmas Jammies.
Whitney got bug jammies because, well, she's in to bugs. Tyler got superhero jammies and Zach of course, trains....again.
Christmas morn. We held them off until 7:30.
Whitney LOVES the selfie...errrrr...not really.
Here are just a fraction of all the stockings that were filled by grandma and grandpa. We have a big family when you put us in stocking form.
Presents, round 2...
Just had to document my bro. I don't even know what to say about him. He's awesome.
We went sledding on a sheet of ice, pretty much. I've got the bruises to prove it. Wow.
What a great time we had. I could have done an entire post on all the food we ate. (I'm confident I ate my body weight in pistachios). I love my family so much and am so grateful we could spend time with them. They are great people and we love them dearly. Yay for Christmas and Family!
