Halloween Festivities 2017

We had another great Halloween. Doing traditional Halloween things. Mimi Heywood came over and we carved pumpkins while our husbands were out hiking the Grand Canyon, rim to rim.

We were invited to a Halloween party at the Robertsons. We carved pumpkins and frosted cookies. This year we dressed up as a Trophy Husband, deer, nerd, scary clown and an astronaut.

And then there was our last Halloween parade...sigh.

Then was the big day. The 31st. We did some trick or treating and then went to the Mallavia's for a party. I made this pumpkin looking cheese ball. Oh, I love a good themed out cheeseball:)

Deer face...
 Trick or treaters...

 Pompeii Volcano!
Unfortunately, Tyler got bonked by a doorknob when a dog pushed a door open. We had to take a break and have Josh do a little "surgery" on his eyebrow before going out for more trick or treating.

Then we hit the party. Mimi made delicious cake pops!

Then, when we got home, the candy trade began...
Grandma and Grandpa are so nice to send a little "treat" in the mail each year.
Zach likes to make some of his own Halloween decorations to hang up around the house.

Oh that was a fun month...On to the next...

Random October

Fall has been beautiful this year. We love spending so much time outside. Here are some pictures of that.
We visited the "Monkey Slide" behind our house for a bit...

Whitney participated in the Homecoming Parade since she's in student government.

The kids got massive amounts of candy! Note to self: always sit at the beginning of a parade route.
Josh, Tyler and I took an early morning fishing trip. We even caught a few fish!
I took the kids out on the rim trail and they did great! Zach thought I was trying to kill him the whole time, but I think he secretly thought it was cool.

Zach was the Star of the week (for like 3 weeks).
Now on to the rest of the year!

Golfing With Tyler...

Tyler and I had a little golf date at Page National this weekend. I scored so many points with him by letting him drive the cart. We couldn't have asked for a better day. It was warm with no wind. The birds haven't sold out and flown south yet so it felt a lot like spring! Such a great day with Tyler, despite me loosing TWO balls! Oh I love this little man of mine. He's pretty darn happy all the time and has such a big heart. He's positive and just fun to be around.
