I was sick for most of February, so I had a lot of pent up energy that I have been enjoying. I have been at odds with winter for a few weeks and decided I wasn't going to let it sap my energy anymore. I put all of my house decorations on my kitchen table and relocated them. It's amazing what a little rearranging can do. I just get sick of looking at the same things all of the time in the same places. I even made a few additional crafts...
This is some silverware from a set my grandma gave my mom. I remember eating off of them when we would have dinner in the backyard at she and my grandpas house. It was so long ago, but the second I saw them, it brought back great memories. I thought I'd show them off!I'm crazy about black and white patterns lately. See below...
After MUCH unpicking, re-sewing, re-ordering, re-measuring and a little bit of cursing, (maybe I should start using patterns.) I finished my skirt. A little weird to make your own clothes these days, I know, but since I didn't have the $84 to buy this one (nor could I pull it off, since It's too short for me once I sit down and wrangle kiddles during Sacrament Meeting) I decided to try to make my own. Now all I need to do is get a pair of those peep toe shoes! Adorable!
