So I haven't blogged in quite some time. This is mainly due to the fact that it has been pretty blah around here. I have been asked many times "What do you DO in a small town?" Well I will take you through a typical day for us....Try not to fall asleep. This is mainly a post for my own benefit
My alarm clock (Tyler) wakes up around 8:00- I know, pretty awesome. Oh, ya, I totally dress this guy in pink bibs all the time. Sorry Tyler. He eats a whole banana, cereal, and 1/2 of my cereal.

My friends know not to call me too early because they know about our late sleeping habits- Call me lazy, but I'll have plenty of mornings to wake up early once Whitney starts school.
Whitney rolls out of bed about 15 minutes later.

Then I check my email and get distracted and then feel guilty for being on the computer.

After getting everyone semi looking decent, we sometimes head to the park and meet up with friends, and try to avoid rock fights, but sometimes it's just inevitable...

After dragging my kids away from that, we go to the good old Afton Post Office.

Sometimes we go to one of the following stores,

Some mornings the Library is on the agenda.

When we get home from that, the real fun begins. Here are a few of the fun things we do on a daily basis. Maybe one day I will look back on this and miss all the messy memories.

Guess what, I DO let him eat food off of the floor...gasp! I also make them clean it up!

Here's another good mess. Cutting up feathers, how totally normal...

Tyler loves "helping me" with the dishes.

Getting caught, a couple of times. You'd think I never fed these kids. I promise I really do watch them!

Sneaking white chocolate chips

This is Tyler laughing because he kept running away from me when I was trying to dress him. If I don't dress him he will take his diaper off and run through the house laughing. It never gets old for this guy.

Whitney really likes to do her make-up when I'm not watching.

She says it helps her from slipping on the ground. No, it doesn't make sense- you just have to accept it. I love how serious she is about it.

Besides messes and chores, I also do craft things in this small town. I just finished up this little dress for Whitney. It's a dress I made just to practice on before I make some other ones. I got some Amy Butler fabric that I'm waiting to use when I get really good at making dresses. Maybe I'll do a post later on my obsession with Amy Butler fabrics. Google her, and you'll fall in love too.
Last thing on the agenda is usually a bath, followed by a screaming match between she and I about why I need to comb her hair.

Not quite sure what this face is all about. But anyway, that's just a little bit of what I do in a small town on a daily basis. Congratulations if you got this far. I know, you're not surprised at the level of awesomeness... But at the end of the day, I think I've got it pretty good.
