Chuck E Cheese

So in my efforts to convince my kids that I'm cool, I took them to Chuck E Cheese... by myself. Zach had been asking to go ever since he saw the commercial for this place. He had a fun, although he did seem a little concerned about the "concert" put on my Mr. Cheese and his friends.
He was a bit more at ease when I told them that they were just robots and not people inside. It actually was Whitney who was freaked out the most. She thought there were people inside and kept asking me why Chuck E. was staring at her. It was a pretty hilarious conversation.

 Then came the games.

Good times were had by all...

Random June Haps...

June has just cruised by! Here are some pictures I found on my camera that I want to remember.

Taking the kids and their friends to Snow Shack with my bestie Jen.
Zach got a pool for his birthday from grandma and grandpa. It's pretty rad.
Josh is taught the kids how to burn wood (and bugs) using a magnifying glass.

Field day at the school for Tyler.
Cookout with friends... (Yes Tyler crosses his hands like this in every picture. It's just his "thing" right now.

Going to the bike park in our neighborhood.
Zach didn't have his bike so he just ran the course. SOOOO funny to watch.

Little lunch at Jen's house. SOOOO sad she moved.

Riding the bull at Walmart with a Snickers Ice Cream Bar. That's not a bad day right there.
Zach went to ride horses with our neighbors. Good times in June...

Green Dragons...

Tyler had a fun season of soccer this spring. Here are a few pictures I captured. He's #2. So stinkin' cute!

Lake Powell 2014

We went down to Lake Powell last week and spent some time with my parents and two older brothers and their families. The weather was beautiful and the boating was awesome. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I NEED to live on a lake. Water-skiing might be one of my top 10 things to do. Anyway, here are some pictures of this week.(Get comfy, there's close to 100 pictures!)

 Flying kites on the houseboat.
 Josh going off the slide.

These little daredevils working up the courage to jump off the top of the boat.

Zach finally went down the slide!
Zach brought some of his toys to share.
Here's a cool cave formation that Josh took the boys too. It was a pretty far hike. I was proud of them for going so far!

We took a trip up to Rainbow Bridge. Lake Powell sure is beautiful.

The best part was the root beer floats at Dangling Rope Marina on the way back!
