Miscellaneous December...

Here are a few pics of December that I want to remember. Lots of them are pictures of the antics of our little elf, Oscar. It was a fun month for the most part.

Decorating the tree...

The first day Oscar showed up. He came with a letter for the kids. They loved searching for him every morning.

Making treats for neighbors... The neighbors actually got a few too!

Tyler and his love for stuffed animals and all things cozy...
Tyler's Christmas program.

I had a little piano party for my students. They are doing great!

So December is gone, along with 2014. We hope for great things in 2015.

Christmas 2014 at the Smith's

Christmas was just plain lovely this year. We were finally all healthy and it was just great. Here's some pictures of our Holiday fun...

I made the traditional jammie pants for the kids this year. Tyler got football pants, Zach got robot pants and Whitney got a cosmic print since she's a brainiac when it comes to all things science-y. They look forward to their Christmas Eve jammie pants each year now.
Some treats for Santa and his crew.
 Christmas Morning smiles...

Whitney designed these cute little Chuck Taylor's. They even have her name on them. I secretly want some of my own. I love the idea of designing my own shoes!

Later that morning, we took the kids out for a toboggan ride. They could do this all day if it weren't for the massive amounts of snow that pile up on them!

There were a few chemistry experiments...
Two of my favorite men working on Christmas dinner.

It was a great day. We have so much to be thankful for. We look forward to 2015 and hope for only great things for those we love. Merry Christmas!

Tyler's big birthday extravaganza...

Tyler turned 7 this week! It was a good day for him, filled with food, friends and fun. What more could you want??
Oscar even brought a treat for him!
The token sibling kissy picture. They secretly love that I make them do this.
We had two of Tyler's friend's families come over for some dessert. They ran him through the spanking machine.

I told his friends not to bring presents, but Jack brought him one anyway. STEAK! This kid loved it, he's such a carnivore.
Earlier, that day we opened presents as a family. Tyler got a BB gun. Yay.
He also finally got a RC helicopter that he's been wanting since last Christmas .
This little snap circuit set was a big hit as well. Whitney was excited about it too. I'd definitely recommend this gift to anyone who has a 7 year old or a kiddo that likes LEGO's.
Cool dude in his motorcycle shirt. He wore it to school the next day:)
 Lego cupcakes.

 Some party-goers.
We sure do adore this busy little man. He is so full of love and so freely gives it. He's a happy boy and likes to entertain. Happy Birthday Ty-guy!
