This year, we headed down south again. Our first stop was to Page, AZ. We explored what will one day be our new home. Here are a few shots from one of the lots that we really like (on the rim trail).
Then we headed to Horseshoe bend. It was beautiful. We are getting excited to explore the new terrain in our new state.

Here, Josh is scaling a rock to catch a lizard for the kids to see. This is a normal occurrence when we hike down south.

So Josh took the kids up to this tall ledge that my sandals just would not scale...

After our adventures and experience in Page, we left dad to live there and we headed up to St. George for some more playing. He had to start work so couldn't come with us. (Booo.)

Some jokers put dryer sheets in the hot tub and it made for a crazy bubbly bubble bath!
We took a break from our swimming to do some exploring. We went to Pioneer Park and crept between the skinny opening in the rock. Sort of got a little scary in there! I tried to show just how narrow it was by using my hands. They didn't quite stretch the entire width, but they were very close.

Then we just messed around on the rocks up there. The kids loved to climb. I loved being in this beautiful weather with my strange children...Here they are being "baby nuffles, baby, and daddy". Not sure who is who. They are these characters that they've invented and they talk really weird. It used to drive me crazy, but I've learned to accept it. They seem to get along when they go in to "baby" mode so I just go along.

I snuck away to what will be our temple when we move. I love the St. George Temple. I'm happy to call it ours. Of course I'm deeply sad that I won't have the Star Valley Temple to call mine, but what can ya do? It will be 2.5 hours to this temple vs. the 2.5 minutes it would take me to get to the Star Valley Temple. So sad...
Here we are at the park. We haven't had a park day in a LONG time!
And then we headed to another pool!
I liked this pool because I could just sit out in the sun and watch my babies occasionally swim by. So relaxing. I love that they are all tall enough and can swim!

Then Josh met up with us on the weekend and we took another hike. We even saw one of the elusive turtles that I always hear about but have never seen in St. George.

I loved seeing these flowering cacti. I've never seen a real cactus with flowers. It was such a pretty shade of pink. The desert can be really pretty.
Of course Josh caught another lizard. I don't know how he does it. It would take me hours to catch one...

What a fun spring break it was. It was relaxing and good to spend time with my Mom and each other. Just exactly what we needed to gear us up for the 32 days left of school that we have. (But who's counting).
