August was dreamy. This was a great summer. I really feel like we made the most of it. Here are a few pictures of our last month of "summer".
We hit the beach with the McCormicks and found a little crawdad.
We had a visit from Ericka Putnam and her son Bridger. They were passing through and we had a sleepover and even hit the monkey slide. It was so good to catch up with her. Gosh I miss my friends!
Then, that same weekend, Jill and her family came to Lake Powell and invited us over to their house boat. It was great to do some exploring with them. We climbed the Sand King and had a blast.
Oh, and then school started, but didn't cramp our summer style too much...
Josh and I took a quick trip to Phoenix! We were invited to take the inaugural flight from Page to Phoenix on Contour airlines. It was a fun little flight- only 45 minutes!
Almond Harvest...A lot of work for a few nuts...
One night, we took a little RZR ride out into the desert. We found this little creature. Our first tarantula! I had heard rumors and I guess they were true! Ew.
Cougar, just flattening out the plants...
Our "chicks" started laying eggs! Green ones! I guess they aren't chicks anymore...
Jonah left on his mission! So fun for our kids to have cousins here to set a good example. He'll do great.
Just Cougar flattening my plants:(
Found these two right by each other so obviously I had to have them.
Zach fell in love with my favorite stuffed animal as a kid. It's pretty cute to see.
August was a good one...
