I've probably already documented all of my nativities, but I wanted to do it again. Especially since I have a new one...It's my new favorite.
Josh was in charge of getting a tree for his department at work. He and I headed out into the wilderness and got this beauty...
Of course we did some exploring because, well, it's Josh. I took one for the team and just stayed put and took the pictures of him by the arch. I'm nice like that.
The highlight for me was seeig these longhorn cows(?) I love animals that have disproportionate body parts.
The boys won't let some frost on the tramp deter them...
We threw a white elephant party and had a great turn out. There were 24 of us!
Josh ended up with this gem. He actually STOLE it. Wow.
The boys love getting into their onesie jammies and jumping on the tramp whenever they can. This morning, it sort of looked like it had snowed.
Ward Christmas party. Whitney sang the Grinch song with some other youth. It was super cute!
The boys got to perform too!
I guess they're not too old for Santa's lap?!
Whitney held her own at the Middle School Orchestra concert.
Zach's latest sleeping arrangement. This one is called "the Shark mobile". Supposedly he has a little writing station in there where he can write his Sharkman comics.
Josh's department Christmas Tree...beach themed.
The Youth decorated a float for the Parade of Lights parade. I had never decorated a float before, so it was fun!
I picked up this giant chalkboard for Whitney and instead of doodling on it, she created a massive math equation. Sounds about right.
Our favorite adopted grandparents had us over for lunch and cookie decorating one Sunday after church. It was definitely a highlight of the kids December. They made quite the "cookie army"...
Tyler's music performance...
Chipping and putting with Tyler...
Some Christmas cards from some of our favs...
New Years Eve treat! We got some decent snow, so we bundled up and headed to Lake View Elementary to do some sledding and "snowboarding".
New Years, for us, is SUPER low key since we're typically trying to catch up from being gone for a week before. I did lots of cleaning, errands and putting away Christmas on NYE. My treat was making myself seven layer dip and watching a movie with the kids. We also did some sparklers:)
