If you're into games like Scrabble, you'd like this. We mainly just hung out, read and played games. It was a nice change of pace. It was great to have the extra help around. Whitney kept us entertained as usual. She misses them already!

Yay for visitors!
Granny, Pops and uncle Taylor came up for a few days this week. It was pretty frigid but we managed to get out anyway. Here are some of the highlights.

It was so fun to have them up here. They brought this fun game that I really like. It's called:

My little bridesmaid, and a haircut for Ty
Long story short- I made this little number last night for Whitney. After a full day of "I want a Snow White dress up" I came up with this. I told her that this is the dress Snow White wears on Saturdays.
The ironic thing is that I HAVE a snow white dress up for her hidden in the closet, that I won't give her until her birthday. You are now saying "So if you were just going to give in to her demands anyway, why not just give her the CUTE and REAL Snow White dress up in the closet?" To that I would say "that wouldn't be nearly as time consuming or "fun"". I didn't think about that until about half way through this little project. ANYWAY.... At first, it started out looking like she was going to be a child bride what with the color of the fabric and the overall plainness of the bottom piece. I got this blue fabric on clearance at Walmart a long time ago , so there's a good chance IT IS the same material some of the ladies in Colorado City use for their dresses. I'm just sayin'. But after putting the top on, she just looks like a bridesmaid to me. I just thought it was so funny. She walks around here with her pearls on, looking SO elegant. So if anyone is getting married and needs a 3 year old bridesmaid, we are ready for duty over here. She loves it. I'm just glad she's wearing more than just a swim suit these days.

Random Stuff from our weekend
After seeing all there was to see at Temple Square, Whitney had the hankering to go to a restaurant with a playground. (She really is a girl who wants it ALL!) So I decide to go to Chuck E Cheese....on a Saturday....by myself...with my kids...nice. It was pretty hectic but luckily my sweet cousin, Sarah came over there with her kids and somehow made things a lot easier for me. We had a bajillion tokens to use up and consequently got some pretty rad toys that have since been lost.
Okay so for the reason for the trip.... Baby Truman. Oh this kid is PURE ANGEL!
