Random December

Here are a few pictures that didn't make the holiday cut...
We had a TON of leaves in our yard. I wasn't a fan, so we raked them up. The kids thought it was such a novel thing to have so many leaves to play in!
I gave blood, which was not a great idea for me. I ended up not doing so great at the end and this ended up being my view, so as to keep me from passing out...Oh well, I tried.
Whitney had a choir concert, and the boys had performances as well.

Tyler on the Xylophone...
Zach's teacher gave him as stuffed animal and I just love how my boys cuddle their stuffed animals. Having affectionate little boys is great. They will be great dads some day!

We had a beautiful rainbow appear as the weather tried to snow. It mainly just spit rain and wind.
We cheered on our nephew in the Page Sand Devils bball game.
Lots of game playing over Christmas Break.
Took some pics of Cougar...
We had a lego competition to see who could make the best ornament. Tyler was the judge. The kids had a whole list of things to do over Christmas break and this was one of them.

Chemistry...

Frosting cookies at the Larson's

I was able to go on a bike ride on Christmas Eve!

I took the boys out behind our house to do some exploring.  We found a couple of golf balls and found that if you chuck them against the rock walls you can never predict where they will ricochet. The boys got a kick out of chasing them down. It was a beautiful day for a winter walk;) I am liking a year off from snow.

What a fun and FAST December that was!

Quick trip to SG...

We ran up to St. George the day after Christmas to visit with some SV friends, the Lechtenbergs. We also were able to have lunch with the Reids, no photo of that. I wasn't on my game, apparently. The kids loved seeing their California cousins. We just laugh whenever we're around them. Pretty entertaining family and we love them. You'll just have to trust that they were there even if there is no documentation.
Also, I surprised my cute SV friend, Haley in SG. She just got back from a semester in China and it was so fun to see her and Lisa, her mom again. I love seeing SV friends. It's good for my soul.

We spent the day swimming and riding motorcycles with the Lechtenbergs. Here's some shots of all that fun-ness...

Josh, finally appearing in a picture with us...It's his rear, but we'll take it.

My new favorite fast food mexican: El Pollo Loco

This shot was taken right before zach ran over that little motorcycle and drove it straight into the trailer and crashed it. He's not quite good at using brakes yet!
You can see Josh scaling this mountain if you look really close.

What a great couple of days it was. We love being able to meet up with friends in St. George and being able to get outside and play in December!
